A female hockey player from Vanderhoof will be making the jump to junior next season.
Lauren Baker committed to the Edmonton Wolves of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League.
Baker has spent the last three seasons with the Northern Capitals under-18 program in the BC Elite Hockey League.
The 17-year-old has seven assists this season in 28 games for the Caps where she is team captain.

Baker has suited up in 92 regular season games over the past three seasons.
Caps graduates Keira Mulder and Keegan Goulet are currently on the Wolves roster.
