Environment Canada has ended the freezing rain warning for the Bulkley Valley, Lakes District, and Stuart-Nechako regions.
Original Story:
Freezing rain is on the way to the Bulkley Valley, Lakes District, and Stuart-Nechako regions.
According to Environment Canada, the rain is expected to start today (Monday).
This is due to a pacific warm front that’s sweeping through the regions above the currently cooler air closer to the ground.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery and ice buildup on trees is possible.
Above zero temperatures and more rain are expected until Saturday.
More information can be found on Environment Canada’s website.
