The Nechako Lakes riding saw a higher percentage of voter turnout during last Saturday’s provincial election, compared to 2020.
65 percent of eligible voters in the riding cast a ballot, up from roughly 50 percent in 2020.
That’s above the overall initial provincial voter turnout of 57.45 percent.
Elections BC confirmed the final count for the 2024 election will take place October 26th to the 28th.
